Trace Strider is an American rapper, lyricist, and Hip Hop producer from Dallas, TX. He got his start in music at a young age when he learned to play piano in 1st grade. Trace Strider began writing metal music and poetry in 5th grade, but always enjoyed writing short stories and creating original creative works since early elementary school. He later began focusing his energy on rap music by developing his freestyle ability and different rap flows within hip hop. He is thrilled to bring in his inspirations from Melodic Metal, film soundtrack, International Music, and early 90s hip hop to infuse varying styles into his artistry as a rapper.

In 2017, Trace Strider had written over 30 rap songs in 2 years, and decided that he would continue writing rap songs, but wanted to focus on creating clean hip hop. He saw clean lyrics as both a challenge, but also a way to introduce hip hop to his hometown of Dallas, TX. He quickly found that parents and school faculty from his hometown were much more receptive to his clean lyrics and found it to be relatable to his mentors from a young age.
